Senior Backend Developer

What would you have to do

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend REST APIs using JavaScript and Node.js, adhering to best practices and architectural standards.
  • Implement scalable and secure API endpoints to facilitate data exchange between front-end applications and server-side systems.
  • Utilize strong relational database knowledge, particularly in SAP HANA, to design, develop, and maintain database solutions.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures to manage and manipulate data effectively. Ensure data integrity, security, and performance optimization through database design and tuning.
  • Stay updated on emerging database technologies and best practices, including HANA XS Advanced, to drive innovation and efficiency in database development.
  • Leverage strong relational database knowledge, including SAP HANA, to develop applications within the HANA XS Advanced environment. Design and implement server-side logic, business rules, and data processing workflows using HANA XS Advanced features.

What would you have to know

  • Strong relational database knowledge (e.g., SAP HANA) and SQL programming, including writing complex database queries and stored procedures.
  • Designing and building backend REST APIs using JavaScript & Node.js
  • Testing and mocking frameworks (e.g. Jasmine, mockstar)
  • HANA XS Advanced is considered a plus
